Note that many speakers can provide their own transportation, but that coordinating transportation may be a useful support.

Will an honorarium be provided to the speaker?*

We recommend that requestors consider some type of honorarium to recognize the experience and time speakers commit to this work.

Our speakers are experienced professionals and we recommend professional compensation for all speaking engagements that accounts for event coordination, preparation, travel time and presentation. $150 - $250 is a suggested minimum honorarium. Presentations requiring more effort should increase to $300 - $1,000+ depending on the nature of the request. Organizations should provide honorariums in alignment with speaker effort, in relationship to organization type and resources (schools, government, nonprofit, business, etc.). We will not turn away requesting organizations who cannot meet this threshold; please reach out and we will try to work with you.
