“Where you come from may shape your story,
but it doesn’t decide how far you can go.”
— Madina, CRSB Speaker
Our Mission
The Colorado Refugee Speakers Bureau creates connection and understanding between refugees, immigrants, and the receiving community to build a more inclusive, vibrant, and cohesive Colorado.
Through presentations, panels, classrooms, workplaces, faith communities, and special events, our speakers share lived experiences that foster learning, dialogue, and meaningful connection.
Our History
The Colorado Refugee Speakers Bureau (CRSB) was founded in 2016 as a way to share the rich stories and experiences of Colorado’s refugee and immigrant community members.
CRSB was founded by staff members from local refugee resettlement agencies and the Colorado State Refugee Services program. The bureau was brought to life by the founding CRSB speaker members, who helped to build the bureau and share their stories with our community.
